A Bladen County resident has earned first place at the Cumberland County Fair.
Andrew Runion’s prize winning watermelon weighed in at 167 pounds. His father, Andy Runion, said Andrew has more watermelons growing and he plans to enter the competition at the NC State Fair in Raleigh in October.
