Early votes were cast for November’s municipal elections starting this Wednesday by registered voters in Elizabethtown, Bladenboro and Clarkton at the Bladen County Board of Elections office on South Cypress Street in Elizabethtown.
On Wednesday, October 16 there were 64 votes cast, (7) seven voter’s registration were updated and there was (1) one new registration.
On Thursday, October 17 there were 95 votes cast, (4) four voter’s registration were updated and there was (5) five new registration.
On Friday, October 18 there were 77 votes cast, (3) three voter’s registration were updated and there was (3) three new registration.
Voters registered in Dublin, East Arcadia, Tar Heel and White Lake can only vote on Election Day, Nov. 5.
Early-voting hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on the following dates:
• Monday, Oct. 21 through Friday, Oct. 25
• Monday, Oct. 28 through Friday, Nov. 1
There is no Saturday early voting during this election.

BLADENBORO
Commissioner (3 seats): (i) Sara Jane Benson, John (Mac) Bowen, (i) Patsi Callihan, Claudette Lewis Guy, (i) Gene Norton, Stephanie A. Thurman and Joey Todd
On the ballot for Bladenboro residents will also have two questions to decide whether to allow the sale of malt beverages and unfortified wine.
