Despite the anguish Pastor Brunson has had to endure locked away in prison with his fate uncertain, I was personally inspired when I watched him stand up in a Turkish courtroom during his trial – facing an effective lifetime sentence – and announce that he harbored no animosity or bitterness towards the …..

By Rev. Chris Denny on Sep 27, 2018  Loving God, the Source of strength and restoration and healing, we pray together for all who suffer in our communities today. In the wake of wind and waves, destruction and flooding, make your presence known through our generosity to our neighbors, near and far. Give us the vision and patience to live and labor faithfully through this season of response and recovery. As we clean up and rebuild, give us your joy and peace. Give us, above all, the love for one another that is your best gift always. In the name of the Triune God, we pray. Amen. Share:

Cry Out America canceled; never forget

Though the State of Emergency announcements canceled the local annual event organized to remember those who lost their lives 17 years ago, residents are still asked to pray. September 11, 2001 was a moment that forever changed America. “It was a national event which affected us all,” stated Ashley Wilson, former Cry Out America National Coordinator and current pastor of Lifegate Church in Lexington, KY. Collapsing structures, a culture of fear, emotional despair, increasing terrorism, and the encroachment of Islam sounded a spiritual alarm for this century. How did …..
