1. High school basketball today has Red Springs at East Bladen and West Bladen at East Columbus. Junior varsity girls games start at 4 p.m. at each site followed by junior varsity boys, varsity girls and varsity boys. (Sports)
2. “Resilience: The Biology of Stress & the Science of Hope” documentary is showing Monday at 6 p.m. at Bladen Community College auditorium. (Story).
3. Cape Fear Valley Blood Donor Center is having a blood drive Feb. 3 at the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office, 299 Smith Circle in Elizabethtown. The drive will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Call Mac Warner at 910-862-6960 to register. Photo identification required.
