Today brought great news about Ayven Lennon, son of Toby and Misty Lennon of Bladenboro. According to their Facebook page, the doctors say Ayven is in remission.
Reporting better news would be hard to do. Ayven was diagnosed with lymphoma in May 2015. The community wanting to help has planned many fundraisers. There is a Fun Day Fundraiser planed on August 1st, starting at 10 am at the Bladenboro Historical Building. There will be Bounce Houses provided by Bounce Brothers, Train Rides, donated by David Hales, Slushies, provided by Lu Mil Vineyard, Water Games by Bladenboro Fire Department, Face Painting and more fun all day for only $5 per person.
Starting at 4 pm until 7 pm there will be a Chicken and BBQ plate sale and a silent auction. Don’t forget to save the date. The Lennon Family is asking for the prayers to continue because Ayven still has to fight against lymphoma even though he is in remission.
