RED SPRINGS- West Bladen defeated Red Springs 2-0 Wednesday in non-conference junior varsity volleyball action by set scores of 25-17 and 25-18.
Kaitlyn Brisson fired in 4 aces and 5 other service points for the winners. Teammate MaKayla Wright knocked in 8 service points that included 3 aces and one kill. Madilyn Walters drilled in 6 aces and 2 other service points.
Kennedy Carroll smoked in 4 aces for West. Teammate Trinity Meares hammered in 3 kills, and Kayla Norris swatted in a kill.
The Lady Knight jayvees improved to 2-0 with the win and will travel to East Bladen Monday at 4:30.
