Thanksgiving Day is fast approaching, down to hours … So, how do you plan to spend the day? the weekend? Greet family and friends, some will no doubt spend some time hunting, playing golf, stuffing food … shopping … I have a suggestion … Sometime over the next few days … check websites for a few Bladen County special attractions that offer so much … ex. Lu Mil, Cape Fear Vineyard and Winery, Allen Brothers, and the Elizabethtown-White Lake Chamber of Commerce … maybe others…
All local folks, all with special attractions … things that may be of interest … Don’t want to hear … ‘There’s nothing to do here’ … balony … much to do including shopping with locals at businesses throughout the area … and restaurants galore…
Seen the new Four County EMC office, just out of Elizabethtown near Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home? … Very attractive, great location on NC 242 … Several businesses in the area in addition to the 2 mentioned. Farm Bureau and Star TMC offices close by.
I realize travel will be different this year … above all, be safe … Hopefully, sometime soon medication will be available to all that will curb, hopefully kill forever COVID-19 … Done enough harm…
