A cold front approaches from the west, allowing for likely rain chances by Sunday, with temperatures warming ahead of the front.”

The overview states, high pressure over the Carolinas brings sunny skies and cold temperatures through Friday and Saturday. Expect highs in the 40s on Friday and Saturday, with lows in the 20s Friday night. A cold front approaches from the west by Saturday evening, which brings widespread rain chances by Sunday. New rainfall generally amounts between half an

inch to an inch, with locally higher amounts possible.

The River Forecast warns of minor flooding expected at the William O Huske Lock And Dam 3 near the Bladen and Cumberland County line. The forecast states, the river is expected to rise above the flood stage this afternoon to a crest of 43.9 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below the flood stage late Sunday evening.
