Spread the love

The annual Fourth of July sidewalk sale is quickly approaching! Whether you are a local resident or a tourist, you will enjoy the wide variety of products as well as the deals and discounts that our local businesses have to offer. Not only is it an awesome opportunity for shoppers, but it is also the perfect time to support our local businesses.

According to downtown business owner, Ricky Leinwand, “this awesome annual sale began over 50 years ago.” He is the third-generation owner and operator of his store, Leinwand’s, which has thrived for eighty-six years.

According to Leinwand, the more support and participation… the better! “We are so thankful for the Chamber of Commerce’s endorsement,” he states. Leinwand’s will offer 50%-80% off on the sidewalk, and 10%-30% off in-store merchandise.

The main strip of Elizabethtown is a beautiful, quaint area to shop, dine, and more! Various businesses up and down Broad Street in Elizabethtown plan to participate in the sidewalk sale.

Kayla Allen of Toddlers and Teens Boutique says, “We are excited for our annual sidewalk sale. This year will be the biggest and best sale ever!” The boutique will offer 40% off regular-priced childrens’ clothing and 50%+20% off sale items. For sneak peeks, check out their app, shop T&T, or their website.

With restaurants, clothing stores, a coffee shop, a comic store, furniture stores and much more, you have plenty of options in Elizabethtown. According to downtown merchants, the Annual Sidewalk Sales will start on July 1 and end at the close of business on July 7.

After your day of shopping, you can head over to the Fireworks at Goldston’s Beach at White Lake on July 4th, 2021, at 9 pm. Terri Dennison with the Chamber of Commerce says, “We are expecting a good crowd this year. We hope that everyone will be respectful of others and take advantage of our many local businesses.”
