The National Weather Service of Wilmington released a mid-week weather overview. According to the report, high pressure continues to dominate the area this week. A cold front tonight will bring a slight cooldown to near normal high temperatures through the remainder of the week. Other than a small chance for a sprinkle or two, the area will remain dry through the weekend. Hurricane Sam will bring an increasing rip current threat this week and weekend.
