Camp Clearwater Campground at White Lake has several fun activities and events planned for the holiday weekend. “Harvest Party Weekend” will kick off tonight.

First is the Pumpkin Carving Contest and the Site Decorating Contest. Both of these competitions will take place tonight, Friday, October 29th. To have your site judged, you must sign up.

The pumpkin carving contest will take place at 8 pm. Carve your pumpkin at your campsite and take it with you to the Good Little Theater to be judged.

The site decorating contest begins at 9 pm, but to be eligible to win you must sign up for the competition no later than 8 pm tonight. A “Fall Site Winner” and “Halloween Winner’ will be awarded.

On Saturday, October 30th, from 10 am until 2 pm, there will be a mechanical bull, inflatables, and music by Play That One DJ Service.

A cornhole tournament with a $40 registration fee will also take place at Camp Clearwater. You must register for the tournament by 9:30 am.

Don’t worry… there will be food too! Pork loin sandwiches, burgers, hotdogs, fries, and more will be available. Additionally, there will be vendors and crafters to check out and shop with.

At 4 pm, multiple competitions will take place at The Good Little Theater —  A costume contest, pet costume contest, and golf cart decorating contest. Winners get prizes!

At 5:45, gates will close and all golf cart and vehicle traffic will end. Trick or Treating will begin at 6 pm and continue until 7:30. Camp Clearwater staff says, “Please be careful – Keep our children safe.”

Following trick-or-treating, fireworks will go off at 8 pm, and then there will be a live music performance by The Embers.

To end the night, there will be a Poker Run at 9 pm. There is a $10 entry fee, and the winner takes home half of the pot! The other 50% will be donated to a non-profit organization.

Social distancing and safe practices are encouraged.
