On March 26, 2022, a benefit for Nathan Kelly, a 48-year-old husband, and father from Lisbon, NC, will be held at Tory Hole Park in Elizabethtown, NC. Nathan is a self-employed contract hauler. He has been a loyal contract hauler for Sweet Home Logging for approximately nine years. He is currently unemployed due to being diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. Several fundraisers have now been organized by a family friend to help Nathan and his family pay medical expenses during this challenging time. By participating in the events, the community can impact the success of the benefit.
Chicken Bog plates will be sold at 11:00 a.m. for $8.00. Green bean, roll, cake slice, and drink are included on the plates. A bike ride is planned in addition to the plate sale. The cost of a single bike ride is $25.00, and a double bike ride requires $30.00. A chicken bog plate is included for all registered bike riders. Bike registration opens at 9:00 a.m., and kickstands are at 10:30 a.m. The ride last for approximately two hours. Bike rides as well as 50/50 tickets will be sold in addition to plate sales. The more tickets purchased, the greater the chances of winning.

To demonstrate support, the following wristbands and t-shirts may be purchased. The bracelets may be purchased right away. T-shirt sales must be preordered before March 20, 2022.
