Spread the love

By Cheryl Thurston

Greetings gentle people. Let me start by saying something directly to the spring season: “Welcome! Welcome!” I love this time of the year because it is all about new beginnings. I hope you’ve all got exciting plans for this year. I know I do. There’s so much to look forward to, I’m excited to get to it. While we are observing the holidays, let’s all remember that life is a gift.

I’d also like to thank our friends at the Bladen County Health Department, who are keeping us informed each month about the sanitation conditions of our local kitchens, cafes, restaurants, diners and cafeterias. I rely on their monthly reports to decide where I go when I eat out. Do you?

Food safety is important for strong healthy bodies, and our local health inspections are important for the continued safety of the public food supply. Check out the list below to view the results of the inspections that were performed in March. And as always, bon appetite.
