As long as I can remember, March winds have been a part of the weather story…but when does it cease?  March winds in May?…The National Weather Service records the temp, wind speed, and whether it is fair, rainy, cloudy, etc., at least 3 times each hour…Yesterday, there were 25 times the wind speed reached or exceeded 20 mph or higher…I know, picky, picky, picky….It’s a sample of what ‘old folks’ do…
A 30% chance of showers today, mainly after 2 p.m.  Cloudy with a high near 74 with wind gust as high as 20 mph.  A 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms, cloudy with a low around 60.  Friday, a 90% chance of rain, possibly a thunderstorm after 2 p.m.  High near 79…
Actually, pretty good chance of rain daily thru Monday night…
It’s back to normal over the Cape Fear River ’til Monday.  A news release indicated workers had to reposition the crane and traffic would be halted again beginning Monday….Updates to follow.
