The Bladen County Board of Education met in August and September. The Board approved new hires and resignations at both meetings.

During the August meeting there were nine resignations and in September there were two resignations.

In August there were six certified personnel hires and in September there were 12 certified personnel hires. Non-Certified Personnel Hires totaled nine in August and totaled ten (10) in September. Long-term Substitute teachers approved in August totaled seven (7), and in September there were six (6) approved.

According to the district’s website, The Bladen County Board of Education “will not tolerate discrimination on the basis of sex, including any form of sexual harassment as that term is defined under Title IX, in any program or activity of the school system.
