Thoughts While Shaving

Travel with care.  Today’s weather forecast includes a Freezing Rain Advisory through 1 p.m.  Highs later today should be about 42 degrees before mild temps (mid 60s) on Tuesday and low 60s forecast for Wednesday.

Today we celebrate President’s Day.  It is a Federal Holiday.  Banks, Post Offices, stock markets are closed.  Local and state governments, as well as local businesses are most likely open as usual. It is not listed as a state holiday.

Speaking of state holidays…..the next one will be Good Friday on March 25.

February is an interesting time for sports ‘nuts’.  High School basketball playoffs begin this week, March Madness is just a around the corner, a new PGA season is underway, NASCAR begins a new season with the Daytona race this week, high school baseball and softball season’s arrive soon as well as tennis, track and soccer and spring training for pro baseball players is just around the corner.  What did I miss?  There are more I am sure.

As cold as it has been over the past few days, farmers are preparing for a new crop season.

Just read that 4,153,237 people got married last year, not to cause any trouble but shouldn’t that be an even number?

Mostly for young folks…. You know that tingly little feeling you get when you like someone?  That’s your common sense leaving your body.
