Larrel Murchison is expected to sign a NCAA National Letter of Intent Wednesday that will determine where he will continue his education and football career. The East Bladen and Louisburg grad announced earlier that he would be attending Ole Miss, however, since that time he has visited Texas and Georgia.

Members of the Hickory Grove Volunteer Fire Department are holding their annual BBQ plate sale beginning at 11 AM Saturday at the fire station near the intersection of US 701 & US 210. The plates are $7 each.
