The Cape Fear Farmers Market is the perfect place to be on a warm, sunny afternoon. David Howard Faircloth of Live Oak entertained with a variety of songs such as “Jolene,” “Dancing Queen” and “Carolina In My Mind.”
Billie Hall, one of the farmers market committee members, said, “We are very pleased with the turn out.”
The Bladen County Master Gardeners conducted a plant sale, baked goods were available as well as crafts.
The event is the kickoff of several events planned for the Cape Fear Farmers Market for the summer. Farm Fresh Fridays will take place every Friday through the fall.
