Bladen County Schools
Spread the love

By: Erin Smith

A crowd of about 150 gathered to hear the future of Tar Heel Middle School on Monday night. The meeting was conducted at the school and is the first of four such meetings which will take place in the county at each middle school.

THMS Principal Dr. Jennifer Smith said the meeting went well. “I thought it was very productive,” said Smith.

She said the information shared with the audience by the Board of Education was very thorough and very detailed. Bladen County Schools Superintendent Dr. Robert Taylor and Board of Education members answered about 15 questions from the audience.

Audience members were asked to write their questions out on a card. Dr. Smith and Plain View Primary Principal Deborah Belle read the questions out loud and Dr. Taylor and the Board of Education members responded.
