
The Bladen County Board of Commissioners are scheduled to have a public hearing Monday on the proposed 2022-23 budget during their regularly scheduled meeting. Budgets must be passed by the end of June.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Commissioners’ Room located on the lower level of the Bladen County Courthouse in Elizabethtown. The meeting also can be heard by telephone by calling 571-317-3122 using access code 377-006-581.
Among other items on the agenda:
• A public hearing regarding the 2022-23 economic development proposed appropriations.
• Consider a capital outlay request for $98,147.19 from Bladen County schools.
• Consider a $402,066.68 bid from Smith Brothers for a paving project at Bladen County Park.
• Enter into closed session to discuss legal issues and personnel.
