Bladen Community College (BCC) recently hosted its annual Touch-A-Truck Day, drawing numerous families and children to the campus for interactive and educational fun. The event featured many vehicles, allowing attendees to touch, climb on, and explore everything from ambulances and off-road trucks to tractors.
The day was packed with activities, including the Bladen County Public Library Book Mobile Bus, Bladen County Emergency Services demonstrations, and a captivating wildlife exhibit presented by representatives from local North Carolina State Parks.
The excitement peaked when a helicopter landed on the grounds, providing a thrilling spectacle for children and adults alike, who watched in awe and then explored the aircraft up close.
Local mother Brooke Morton expressed her enthusiasm for the event, saying, “I love this day at BCC!” Her sentiment echoed the community’s appreciation for the unique learning opportunities provided by the event.
In a media post, BCC representatives shared their gratitude: “Thank you to everyone who came out to support the Touch A Truck event! We love opportunities like these to put smiles on so many faces and inspire our community.”
