[Dublin, NC] — Bladen Community College proudly unveiled its newly renovated Public Safety Fitness Room on Wednesday, November 22nd, 2023. The open house provided students, faculty, and staff with a glimpse into the space designed to teach individuals physical fitness and develop the stamina necessary in public safety professions.
Under the guidance of BLET & Campus Safety Director, Danny Priest, guests received detailed descriptions of each piece of equipment, highlighting the room’s dedication to excellence. Mr. Priest also emphasized what a difference the use of this space has made in just the short time that students have been able to use it.
The open house not only allowed visitors to observe and learn about the state-of-the-art gear but also provided hands-on experience with the apparatus. This fitness equipment, generously provided in part by Bladen We Care, reflects their support for the community and the college’s mission to nurture high-performing public safety professionals.
