Adoptions will be held Monday-Friday 12:00 pm-5:00 pm by appointment only.
Bladen County Animal Control/Shelter will be waiving the adoption fee for dogs on June 15th – June 30th, 2020. You will still be required to pay the vaccination fees of $25-$30. Our hope is that waiving the adoption fees will help get more of our long term dogs adopted. If you are ready to add a furry friend to your family, please come out and give a shelter animal a second chance at a fur-ever home.
You will be required to have a mask or facial covering, please come prepared with your facial covering or you will not be able to come into the shelter.
- Animal Drop-offs, Return to Owner, and Adoptions will be held Monday-Friday 12:00 pm -5:00 pm by appointment only.
- Animal Control Pickups will be back to regular hours Monday – Friday 8:30 am-5:00 pm.
Viewing of the animals for Return to Owner and Adoptions will be limited to two people at a time in the shelter. Anyone coming to Bladen County Animal Control for Adoptions, Drop-offs, and Return to Owner will be required to have a mask or facial covering.
This is for the protection of the public as well as our staff. Please come prepared with your facial covering or you will not be able to come into the shelter. We hope to get back to normal hours of operation in the near future and we will post any changes to our hours on our Facebook page. We thank you for helping during this time to keep everyone safe.
