A staff report
The Bladen County Animal Shelter is spotlighting three special animals in urgent need of loving homes this week. These animals include two female husky mixes, Yukon and Tahoe, and a very pregnant cat named Tammy. The shelter is currently experiencing a crisis and is seeking immediate help from the community to ensure these animals are cared for and find permanent homes.
Meet Yukon and Tahoe
Yukon and Tahoe are two sweet and friendly female husky mixes that entered the shelter together. They have quickly become favorites among the staff due to their gentle nature and good behavior with other dogs. Both dogs are looking for a forever home where they can stay together and continue to thrive.
Urgent Need for Tammy
Tammy, a beautiful calico cat, is very pregnant and needs to be moved out of the shelter to a safe place where she can deliver her kittens. The shelter is urgently calling for anyone who can provide a temporary foster home or permanent adoption for Tammy to come forward.
Shelter in Crisis
The Bladen County Animal Shelter is currently in a critical state and needs the community’s support to network and find homes for the animals. They emphasize that it takes a village to save a life and are asking for assistance in spreading the word.
