The Bladen County Commissioners voted to proceed with plans for a $4.64 million proposed county-wide water system which, if approved, will be financed by an FHA grant for $2 million, a state grant for $450,000 and $2.1 million dollars from Bladen County.
Bladen County 4H Agent Martha Warner was named one of North Carolina’s top 4H agents for 1985.
