A Bladen County magistrate has been arrested and charged with one count of felony larceny by employee.
Priscella Dean Dunham, 54, of White Oak, was arrested on Monday by the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office and made her first appearance in Robeson County Court on Tuesday. According to reports, Dunham was an employee of the JC Penny Store in Lumberton.
Dunham is also a magistrate in Bladen County and Bladen Court records show she has been suspended by Judge Scott Ussery until further notice.
Bladen County Chief Deputy Larry Guyton said the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office was not involved in the investigation.
