Bladen County School Nutrition has unveiled its annual Summer Feeding Program, extending vital nutrition support to children during the summer break. Despite the absence of confirmed sites or mobile locations, the announcement aims to alert the public to anticipate and benefit from this essential initiative.

Scheduled to commence from June 10th to August 8th, the Summer Feeding Program will provide nutritious meals to children in need throughout the designated period. While the specific sites and mobile locations have yet to be finalized, the school administration assures that details will be promptly communicated to the public once they are confirmed.

The program will offer both Breakfast and Lunch services, catering to the nutritional needs of participating children. Crystal O’Briant, School Nutrition Coordinator, will be the contact point for inquiries and further information. She can be reached at the Board of Education at 910-862-4136 Ext.10019.

As the Summer Feeding Program progresses, updates regarding meal service times and confirmed locations will be promptly disseminated to the public. The administration remains committed to ensuring accessibility and inclusivity for all eligible children within the community.

Furthermore, the administration welcomes feedback and encourages community engagement throughout the duration of the program.
