A staff report

In a dedicated effort to nurture an educational environment where every student and staff member can thrive, Bladen County Schools has reached out to the community with an open invitation: to voice their opinions and offer feedback on the district’s culture and climate.

With a resolute commitment to continuous improvement, the school district’s latest social media post extends a heartfelt call to action for parents, students, and faculty to engage in a meaningful dialogue about their experiences in Bladen County Schools. “We want to hear from YOU!” the post begins, emphasizing the district’s appreciation for community involvement in shaping the future of its schools.

Understanding that a positive school culture and welcoming climate are the cornerstones of academic success and student well-being, Bladen County Schools has crafted a comprehensive “School Culture and Climate Survey.” The survey is designed to capture honest feedback on the current state of affairs within the district’s schools, spotlighting areas of excellence and identifying opportunities for growth.

Highlighting the significance of community input, the district’s message underscores feedback’s crucial role in informing decisions that affect the whole school community. “Your feedback is crucial in helping us make informed decisions to enhance our school community,” the post reads, serving as a testament to the district’s collaborative approach to education.

In recognition of the busy schedules that families and staff manage, Bladen County Schools has thoughtfully extended the survey window, now giving stakeholders until April 15, 2024, to share their perspectives. This extension reflects the district’s determination to ensure that every voice is heard and that the survey results are as comprehensive and representative as possible.

Bladen County Schools concludes the call for participation with gratitude, thanking the community for their continued support and commitment to the district’s mission: “Thank you for your participation and commitment to making our schools the best they can be.”As the survey progresses and responses are collected, Bladen County Schools stands at the ready to listen, learn, and lead with the insight gained from its greatest asset—the community it serves.
