Bladen County ShrinersThe Bladen County Shrine Club holds an annual fall fish fry every year in the fall, and this year is no different. Get a fresh, hot, fish plate for lunch Wednesday, October 14th starting at 11 am. The two locations will be the Food Lion parking lot in Elizabethtown and the Bo’s parking lot in Bladenboro. The plates consisting of fillets, sweet potato chips, cole slaw, hush puppies and ice tea are $8 per plate.

Gareett Smith, the President of the local club said, “It’s for the children,” when we asked him who benefits from the fund raiser on Wednesday.

According to Smith 100 precent of the proceeds from the fish fries in Elizabethtown and Bladenboro will be given to the Shriner’s Hospitals for the children.

Bladen County folks getting hungry for lunch on Wednesday should buy a plate from one of the two locations to help the local Shrine Club make a difference in children’s lives.
