Bladen County’s local news outlet, BladenOnline.com has a new look with added features. The website’s new theme not only looks cleaner, but it should add value for the readers, according to Charlotte Smith, owner of the news outlet.
“We have been struggling a bit for the past few months with our site not operating to its full potential. We have been working diligently to overcome those obstacles and we are excited about our new design,” Smith said.
The new crisp design offers easy buttons for readers to communicate with BOL’s staff. There is a feature which allows comments on articles, which was not available before.
“We are very pleased with the new design; the site now has more interactive components, allowing our readers to voice their opinions not only on our Guestbook, but on the articles throughout the site,” Smith said.
In addition to the interactive features, readers can now view the latest published posts on the left hand side of the site while still being able to view BOL’s loyal advertisers in between the articles and on the right hand side of all pages.
