The Bladen County Firefighters Association announces its April meeting will be held on Thursday April 13 at 7 p.m. at Clarkton Fire Department. The department is located at 205 Peach Street.
Anyone interested in volunteering with your local fire department is encouraged to attend. There are many benefits to volunteering that reach beyond the satisfaction of serving the community you live in. Did you know out of the 1,087 registered fire departments in North Carolina, more than 90% are volunteer or mostly volunteer? There are many roles you can fill in addition to structural firefighting, including support, logistical, administrative, training, and more.
The Bladen County Firefighter Association and Bladen County Fire Departments invite you to volunteer regardless of your experience level.
