For many folks New Years Eve is a time of making merry and making resolutions, but, for many folks in Bladen County, New Years Eve came in rather quietly.
The Venue at White Lake was the spot for many of you to ring in the New Year in Bladen County. At the Venue folks enjoyed the music of a live DJ and hors d’oeuvres. Many attendees of the New Year’s Eve bash saw fit to ring in the New Year with a dance or two.
Tickets for the event were sold out in advance of the evening.
In addition to enjoying the music, some folks even chose to make New Years resolutions.

“For 2016, my resolution is to stay alive and make God proud of me! Be a great wife, mother, sister and Grandma Giggles! Also to be a good, devoted employee of the Bladen County Board Elections,” said Ward.
