On Monday, July 17th, the Bladenboro Rotary Club held their 56th Annual Awards and Recognition Banquet.
At the dinner, $1,000 scholarships each were given to four outstanding graduates of West Bladen High School.
MacKenzie Singletary (pictured at top) and Andrew Dowd were awarded the J.W. and Martha Black Memorial Scholarship. This is given to the male and female earning the highest grade point average (GPA).
Wayden Norris and Aaron Wren were awarded the Commander Frank Elkins Memorial Scholarship.
