Their recent efforts include supporting Bladenboro Middle School with new scoreboards and contributing towards an essential electronic scoreboard at McLean Park.

BTB President Terry Nance shared the exciting news about these projects. They’ve partnered with WoodmenLife-Craig Callihan to provide $5,000 in funding for the much-needed electronic scoreboard at McLean Park. These contributions are set to enhance the local sports facilities and create a positive impact.

Additionally, the organization has been diligently ticking off items from its checklist in preparation for the upcoming 2023 Beast of Bladenboro Festival, also known as the “Beast Fest.”

One of the projects BTB has been working on is the development of a downtown stage. With the assistance of grants from the Bladen County American Rescue Plan and funding from BTB, the stage is now under construction and will be ready for use in time for the festival.
