The regular monthly meeting of the Boost the ‘Boro committee will take place at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, at the Bladenboro Farmer’s Market.
The committee is scheduled to receive several updates regarding projects including an update on a grant application for the expansion of the farmer’s market, re-opening of the market for spring and summer, plans for the Spring Fest, a financial report on Beast Fest and continue with plans for the 2016 festival, a review of the quarter-cents sales tax referendum, and an update on the 5K Bunny Run for Relay for Life.
The committee will also hear from Charles Ray Peterson and Bobby Ludlum regarding the 2016 Community Improvement project.
