Spread the love

For those who love such challenging games as Black Jack and Roulette, you’ll have your chance to test your skills on Saturday. That is when Bladen’s Bloomin’ Agri-Industrial and the Committee of 100 will hold a joint fundraiser called “Casino Night” at Cape Fear Vineyard and Winery. Doors will open to the public at 6:30 p.m. and games will begin at 7 p.m. Tickets for Casino Night cost $50 each and can be purchased at Cape Fear Vineyard or from the Bladen County Economic Development Office.

The groups are trying to attract younger members to their ranks. Casino Night tends to appeal to a broad range of age groups.  Anyone who spends $100 on tickets will receive a free membership into the Committee of 100.

A Casino gaming company is assisting with the evening’s fun and will set up 8 black jack tables, 2 Texas Hold’Em tables, 2 Roulette games, and one craps table and a Money Wheel. You will exchange your tickets for poker chips that are used to play the games. At 10 p.m. the games will close and you will exchange the chips you have for raffle tickets for prizes from local merchants. Some of the prizes include gift cards from Leinwands and Fisher’s Mens and Ladies Shop, an AR 15 rifle supplied by Del-Ton, and M H Marine has offered to detail up to a 25 foot boat.

This is opportunity for Bladen County residents to come out and show their support for economic development in the county. For more information about Casino Night, you can call 910-645-2292.
