As kids start going back to school and life get busier, now’s the time to check your child’s safety seat. Motor vehicle crashes are the number one cause of death among children ages 1-19.
Many people don’t know that children should ride in the backseat until age 13. It’s also a good idea to choose soft toys that won’t injure your child in a crash and secure any loose items in the car.
Safe Kids NC runs inspection stations where experts will check your child’s seat to ensure it’s installed correctly and is the right seat for their age, weight and height.
