The holiday season is a time of joy, love, and giving, and that sentiment extends to our furry companions as well. In a local event known as “Christmas at the Farmers Market: Santa Paws and Claws,” the Elizabethtown-White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, along with the Elizabethtown Veterinary Hospital and the Barking Lot, came together to create a festive occasion filled with goodies and valuable information for our four-legged friends. This delightful event featured Santa and Mrs. Claus and was sponsored by Kind 2 Critters.

In a world where pets are cherished family members, it’s only fitting that they get their special holiday celebration. “Christmas at the Farmers Market: Santa Paws and Claws” aimed to provide an enjoyable experience for pets and their owners alike, bringing the spirit of Christmas to our furry companions.

The success of this event was a shining example of collaboration within a community. Terri Dennison, Director of Communication and Marketing with the Town of Elizabethtown, NC, and Executive Director of the Elizabethtown-White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce said, “It was a great event featuring lots of goodies and information for our 4-legged friends.”

Some of the highlights included:

1. Pet Photos with Santa: Pet owners had the unique opportunity to capture precious moments with their furry companions and Santa Claus himself. These precious photos will undoubtedly become treasured keepsakes for years to come.

2. Goodies Galore: The event featured a range of pet-related goodies, from treats and toys to accessories and grooming supplies. It was a paradise for pet lovers looking to pamper their furry friends with special gifts for the holiday season.

3. Information and Education: In addition to the festivities, attendees had access to valuable information about pet care, health, and wellness. Representatives from the Elizabethtown Veterinary Hospital were on hand to provide expert advice and answer questions, ensuring that pets receive the best care possible.

4. Community Spirit: “Christmas at the Farmers Market: Santa Paws and Claws” fostered a sense of community and togetherness among pet owners. It was a chance to connect with fellow animal enthusiasts, share stories, and build lasting bonds.

As we look forward to future celebrations, let’s remember the importance of including our four-legged family members in the holiday festivities, spreading love and warmth to all. View more chamber holiday events below.
