Cindy’s Drive Thru and Catering restaurant located on US 701 South across from Elizabethtown Middle School is moving into a larger space. On Tuesday, the restaurant is expected to open in the newly constructed building located behind the current facility.
“She’s going to be serving there tomorrow (Tuesday),” said Ron Taylor, who owns Taylor Manufacturing.
Cindy’s offers a lunch menu and also caters events in the area. To have Cindy’s cater your event, call 910-391-8052.
Taylor said the certificate of occupancy was issued by Bladen County officials on Thursday. He said the restaurant’s staff have started relocating everything to the new building.
Once the move is complete, Taylor said the building that housed Cindy’s for so many years, will be removed and the finishing touches will be put on the parking area for the new building. Taylor said Cindy’s employees were busy moving during the weekend.
