A crash on Monday morning at the intersection of NC 41 West and Marsh Road resulted in the temporary closing of NC 41 West. The road has since re-opened to traffic. According to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol Troopers on the scene, four people were transported to Cape Fear Valley-Bladen Healthcare with minor injuries.
According to Troopers, the driver of a small pickup truck was traveling eastbound on NC 41 when the truck hydroplaned on the roadway and turned sideways into the path of a car. The names of the drivers and passengers were not immediately available. Charges are pending against the driver of the pickup truck.
Bladen County EMS, Bladen County Sheriff’s Office, North Carolina Highway Patrol, and Dublin Fire Department all responded to the scene.
