Rain could not dampen the spirits of those who turned out for the Summer Sounds Concert at the Cape Fear Farmers Market in Elizabethtown on Thursday. The event was sponsored by the Elizabethtown-White Lake Chamber of Commerce and Cape Fear Valley-Bladen Healthcare.
The North Tower Band played many crowd favorites while folks danced the evening away. Some of the songs included “I’ll be Dog Gone” and “Can’t Stop the Feeling.”
Heavy downpours finally forced audience members to seek shelter and wait it out. The rain-shortened event was enjoyed by everyone who attended.
The next Summer Sounds Concert is scheduled for Thursday, July 26th, at 6 p.m. at the Cape Fear Farmers Market in Elizabethtown featuring the band Pizzaz.
