Cancer has touched many lives in Bladen County. Mary Carter Williams, Bladen County Relay for Life Event Lead, announced the annual fundraising event to help the American Cancer Society has been scheduled. Bladen County Relay for Life will be held from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2022. The event will occur at the Elizabethtown Middle School track located at 1496 US Highway 701 South in Elizabethtown, NC.
Festivities will include a luminary service, a survivor’s lap, and a caregiver’s lap. Everyone is encouraged to come out and cheer on the cancer survivors and their caregivers as they do their laps around the track.
