The Bladen County Chapter of Disabled American Veterans is bringing medical supplies to Cape Fear Valley-Bladen Healthcare, according to David Brown. The items are coming from Georgia.
He said the equipment will consist of walkers, medical beds, canes, and wheel chairs.
“We’re taking it to the hospital to be distributed down to the coast,” said Brown.
Brown said a second truck is coming with food, clothing, and furniture supplies for both Bladen County and residents along the coast.
“There are two 18-wheel trucks coming from Georgia and the Disabled American Veterans are making sure this gets out to the people that need it,” said Brown.
