The Bladen County Division of Aging has partnered with the Lumber River Council of Governments and the Alzheimer’s Association to provide a free series of educational seminars to the public on Dementia Awareness.
The first seminar in the series was taught on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, when approximately 50 people gathered to learn, “The Basics: Memory Loss, Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease”. For families and friends of persons living with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia, these seminars are sure to be beneficial.
The next upcoming seminar is scheduled for Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Trinity United Methodist Church from 9 a.m. until11 am. Registration is encouraged. To register, please call 1-800-272-3900. Light refreshments will be served.
