Each year, students report having experienced being bullied at school. Bullying can leave students with emotional and psychological scars that last a lifetime. Eastpointe MCO is offering a monthly  education session. This month’s meeting topic is the prevention of bullying and is planned for  Friday, August 24th, from 1 until 2 p.m. at the Bladen County Public Library.

There will be tips for the prevention of bullying and resources for students, teachers and parents.

“More than one out of every five students report being bullied according to the (National Center for Educational Statistics, 2016). Eastpointe would like to provide tips to students, parents and educators to make sure that they are able to enjoy their school year without concerns of bullying behaviors,” said Cheryl Harris with Eastpointe MCO.
