In a special meeting called on Monday, the Elizabethtown Town Council voted to accept an offer to purchase a lot located at 432 West Broad Street.
Town Manager, Eddie Madden, said the lot is located adjacent to the dental office of Dr. Tracie Vestal.
The winning bid was in the amount of $85,000, and was received from Michael G. Woodcock, said Madden.
The meeting took place at Cape Fear Vineyard and Winery, following the ribbon-cutting ceremony at Tory Hole Park.
