Elizabethtown North Carolina Mayor Sylvia Campbell is very excited to announce a shipment of much needed supplies are to be delivered today from our sister state. Elizabethtown Kentucky heard of the flooding and damages the town with their same name had in North Carolina and wanted to help.
“This is a wonderful thing,” Mayor Campbell said.
The shipment of supplies is scheduled to be delivered at 10 a.m. this Thursday morning. Volunteers are needed at the Bladen County Disaster Relief Distribution Site at 108 South Cypress Street in Elizabethtown to help unload the truck of donations.
