It has been a busy, successful, and fun summer here in Bladen County. With concerts and special events across the county, it has been entertaining for sure, but it’s not quite over yet! Terri Dennison with the Elizabethtown-White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce is excited about what is to come.
Dennison shared that September will be a very busy month, with events planned almost every weekend. This Friday night, September 3rd, the Sunset Jams Concert Series will continue. Legacy Motown Review will perform at Goldston’s Beach in White Lake from 7 pm unitl 10 pm.
According to Dennison, the Beach Music Concert Series has been very successful, and she expects the success to continue.
Also happening on the weekend of September 3rd is UNITY Fest. For more information, read this previous article: Bladen Unity Fest
Referring to all of the upcoming events, Dennison stated, “We hope everyone will come out and enjoy. It is a good time to get out and have fun, safely!”
Local photographer Jamie Corbett captured the crowd enjoying entertainment this past weekend during the Beach Music Festival hosted by The Grand Regal at Goldston’s Beach. The festival included live, free concerts on Friday and Saturday evenings. Entertainment was provided by The Executives Band, Chairman of the Board, & The Embers Featuring Craig Woolard.
