As the Easter weekend approaches, Sheriff Jim McVicker is hoping that everyone is able to celebrate Easter in a joyful and safe manner.

“We hope that everyone will have a great weekend with their family and loved ones celebrating Easter, however we would like to remind everyone to follow the safety guidelines that have been established”.  Remember to stay six feet from everyone and no groups larger than ten people. Stay at home when you can and look after your loved ones”. “A lot of churches will be having online services and some will have “drive in” services which require you to remain in your car and socially distanced from everyone”, said Sheriff Jim McVicker.

Sheriff McVicker explained they know that this is an inconvenience to everyone, and they apologize.  They know we all have had to make changes in the way we do business to combat the Covid 19 epidemic, but your protection is the Sheriff’s Office’s number one priority,  They appreciate everyone adhering to the Governor’s Executive Order in order to flatten the curve.

Please know that the Sheriff’s Office will continue to monitor your businesses while you are at home.  They have extra patrols working around the clock to protect you and your property.
