The Elizabethtown Fire Department responded to Elizabethtown Primary School on Thursday afternoon after a fire alarm experienced a problem.
Bladen County Schools Public Relations Director Valerie Newton said, “The fire alarm experienced a power surge and started beeping.”
She said the alarm company dispatched the fire department as a precaution. There was no damage to the school and no one was injured.
